This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between:
Echt Hedge Trimming (“Contractor”)andThe Client (“Client”)
Together referred to as “the Parties”.
1. Services
The Contractor agrees to provide hedge trimming services as described in the quotation provided to the Client (“the Services”). Work will commence on the agreed date and time, subject to weather conditions and site accessibility.
2. Quotation and Pricing
A minimum service charge of $500 (incl. GST) applies to all bookings, regardless of the size or scope of the job.
Any additional work requested by the Client outside the original scope will be quoted separately and must be agreed upon in writing before commencement.
3. Payment Terms
The Contractor will issue an invoice upon completion of the Services.
The Client agrees to pay all invoices in full within 7 working days of the invoice date.
Late payments may incur interest or administrative fees as determined by the Contractor.
4. Client Responsibilities
The Client will ensure that the worksite is safe, accessible, and free from hazards for the Contractor and their team.
The Client is responsible for advising the Contractor of any underground services, hidden obstacles, or site conditions that could be impacted by hedge trimming activities.
5. Cancellation and Rescheduling
The Client may cancel or reschedule services by providing at least 48 hours’ notice prior to the scheduled work date.
Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a $100 cancellation fee.
6. Limitation of Liability
The Contractor will take all reasonable care while performing the Services.
The Contractor is not liable for damage to underground services, hidden structures, or pre-existing property conditions unless caused by proven negligence.
7. Governing Law
This Agreement is governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes arising from this Agreement shall be resolved under New Zealand jurisdiction.
8. Acceptance of Agreement
By signing below, the Client agrees to the terms and conditions set out in this Service Agreement and authorises Echt Hedge Trimming to carry out the Services as described.
